THANK YOU

I just want to take this oppertunity to thank everyone involved for an amazing marching season. We really pulled together and accomplished some amazing things. I just want to tell you all how proud I truley am of all we have accomplished this year. Ahhh the field show. It was a lot of really hard work and early mornings arn't always the best times to try and get along with lots of other people. Thanks for pulling together to make it happen. I love you all!(even if you were out of step jk). I guess what I'm thanking you for the most is for giving me a job. Without you guys it wouldn't happen.

So basically

So tonight is the performance of our field show. I'm pretty psyched and quite nervous. We've worked super hard. I hope all goes well. My dad and fam will be there. Just for the record I tried to get Sessions to come but I haven't heard from him so I guess it's not gonna happen. For those who don't know this will be my last musical activity(unless you count singing) for a while. If you haven't noticed my wrist brace then your clueless. I'm going in for surgery at 10 on Monday morning. I wish it didn't have to be done but better now than the middle of the competition season. Well I have to go get my uniform and such on. Love, peace and chicken grease.

Perfect Senior Schedule

So today I accomplished my goal of having the perfect or nearly perfect senior schedule. I have 4 music classes. I wanted to have choir but it didn't work. Tis okay though. I have no math and no science which is a total score seeing as I hate both math and science. So I'm really looking forward to that stuff. This year is gonna rock my going to school world. I'm so excited for the feild show it's going well so far. I'm a little nervous about when we try to put the music and the sets together. It'll be okay though. See ya'll on the flip side.

So now band camp is over and our first parade of the season is tomarrow. I'm so excited. It's gonna be fun. I'm espicially excited about the whole being the drum major thing. I think it's starting to sink. We've learned a lot of new stuff. I want to know what people think about it. I think things have gone well. Let me know what yall' think.

Drum Major Camp

So this last week I went to a Drum Major Camp at UNLV. The first few nights were tough and due to the business of the last few weeks I just wanted to come home and sleep. I leared a lot and it feet like my head was going to explode. To make a long story short I leared a butt load and in the end I was SO glad I went. We did a really cool demo and I had my brother tape it. He didn't do a very good job but if you guys wanna see what I did all week you can check it out. I hope all you band types can appreciate all I went through to make up better. This marching season is gonna rock and the field show is gonna be even better. I have lots of new ideas for improvement and hope to put them to the test. If you have any questions or ideas let me know. Oh yah and all the kids at camp called me UTAH. It was kinda cool. Well, I'm out.

HAZAH

So not really to brag but kinda I'm super excited forcome I got the DM position. I worked really hard and it ended up paying off. I'm so excited for next year. The council is gonna be great and I can't wait for the field show. I must admit I am a bit torn to not be marching in the show itself but ah well it's still gonna rock everybody's socks off! Later days.

DM Try Outs and the works

**DISCLAIMER-this is in no way meant to offend anybody**

So today was Drum Major tryouts as most of you know. I did my silly salute feeling all silly like and continued. I was surprised to find that not just Joe and I were competing for the position. To my surprise Ben and McKray also decided to try out. Maybe it was just me but I didn't feel like they should be allowed to try out. You see I prepared for this tryout quite a bit, from researching on salutes to working on my commands. I feel like preparing so much made me look like a fool. I know my salute looked sillyish but I want you all to know that I really did try and no matter what I hope you all know how much this band has meant to me. It keeps me sane but sometimes being that sane drives me crazy. Well I hope you all know that I'm here, I may be a stinker but when it comes down to it I really do care.
