Being Asked to Prom

So yah I got asked to prom today and I'm so excited. For any of those who care this is how it happened.
I walked in the front door to find red balloons all over my house. I continued threw my house to my bedroom door.(Just for the record Lindsey was with me the whole time.) On my door I found a note reading:
"THE TREASURE HUNT(find the treasure) RULES: You can use the walkie-talkies any time. They have a voice on the other end that will help you if you need help.(At this time Lindsey handed me a walkie-talkie) This could take a while, so do not waste time. Do this as fast as you can but do not speed. All you have to do is figure out where the clues want you to go and find the next clues when you get there. You will find some yellow papers when you find the clues, do not lose them and bring the clues with you in you car. At each place the clues take you, there will be something to find. You nay be gone for a while so, do anything that needs to be done at you house now, so you will not have to do it later. Example: lock the doors and turn off the lights if you have to. You will need to bring some of this stuff with you and some of your own stuff; Your phone, the clues, the yellow papers, and the walkie-talkie. DON'T LOSE THE YELLOW PAPERS! Moreover, remember, each balloon was filled by me and sealed with a kiss. Try the walkie-talkie now; it should be on channel 3 or 4."
I tried the walkie-talkie but it didn' t work so I read the extra note attached to the bottom of the paper, it read:
"Each balloon holds a "Kiss" for you. However, one has the very first clue!"
I opened my door to see over 200 balloons everywhere. I looked through them and eventually found one with a big W on it and decided to pop it. Inside was a note.
"This is a treasure hut just for you, You have found the very first clue! THE CLUE IS; grass, dark, cold. HINT:Use the walkie-talkie if you can't figure it out."
I thought for a moment and realized it was the LaVerkin park because every time we go there we talk about how cold it is,how wet the grass is and that it is dark. I walked out the door of my house to see it hailing and became a bit nervous. But none the less I headed off on my journey. Arriving at the park I didn't know exactly where to look. I found the next clue on the play equipotent and the clue read:
"You've figured out my first rhyme Don't waste time. THE CLUE IT; A house of a friend of yours and mine. He's funny and we think he's fine."
I figured it was either Zach or Devin but using the little voice I found that it was Zach's house.
I drove up there and on the doorstep found another balloon. I popped it and found another clue.
"Zach's a great friend whit our clue, Find the next and get it too. THE CLUE IS; Valentines Day, Mckennen, Mckray, Devin and Christine, oh ya a little red truck."
This one was easy because the only other place I had gone on Valentine's Day was to the LaVerkin overlook, I drove out there and the road was really muddy. None the less I trudged on. Upon reaching the top I saw Wesley and his truck. He told me that someone had stolen the candy bar but he had the clue.
"HINT; Behind you in you car." I got out of my car and opened my trunk finding a rose, the last clue and more candy. The following note was attached: "THE CLUE IS; There's a guy who want to see you, drive up the hill to get your next clue."
Wes had originally planned for me to drive all the way up to his house but he had been following me all day and decided to not have me drive that far. With each clue I also found a candy bar, yum.
So today was pretty cool. After that Wes and I went bowling and I kicked his butt.
