DM Try Outs and the works
**DISCLAIMER-this is in no way meant to offend anybody**
So today was Drum Major tryouts as most of you know. I did my silly salute feeling all silly like and continued. I was surprised to find that not just Joe and I were competing for the position. To my surprise Ben and McKray also decided to try out. Maybe it was just me but I didn't feel like they should be allowed to try out. You see I prepared for this tryout quite a bit, from researching on salutes to working on my commands. I feel like preparing so much made me look like a fool. I know my salute looked sillyish but I want you all to know that I really did try and no matter what I hope you all know how much this band has meant to me. It keeps me sane but sometimes being that sane drives me crazy. Well I hope you all know that I'm here, I may be a stinker but when it comes down to it I really do care.

Hey Alyse, you did fine with your salute. I was just pulling your chain. Anyways, I do not believe that they should have been allowed to try out. I have nothing against them except that Mr. Mo set a date and then proceeded to go against it. The worst part was when he said "Anyone else?" Oh well, what's done is done.
